Does Gel Liner Flake Off
When it’s a good quality gel liner they typically never will flake off. The one by its cosmetics works well because once it’s applied to the skin it sinks into the skin making it difficult for the product to come off. If your afraid that oily eyelids may cause flaking or smearing of the eyeliner it’s a good idea to always apply concealer and some translucent powder to help control the oils.

How To Apply Gel Liner
Gel liner is really easy to use. If you have mastered applying pencil liner then gel liner is the same thing except you need an angled brush to apply it.
Step 1: Dip the angled brush into IT Cosmetics Liner Love Gel Liner
Step 2: looking down in a mirror and holding the edge of your eyelid gently draw three dots across the lid on at the beginning of the eyelid the second on the middle of the eyelid and the third at the end of the eyelid.
Step 3: Connect the lines with the same brush
If you want your eyeliner thicker and more dramatic add pressure to the angled brush if you want it more natural-looking add less pressure to your angled brush.
How To Apply Gel Liner To Be On The waterline
When applying gel liner to the waterline I never use a brush, the reason being is because it can irritate the waterline area. I personally found that the IT Cosmetics Liner Love is safe on the waterline and I personally never had any sensitivity to my eyes. When applying the gel eyeliner to the waterline I usually use another pencil liner in which I dip the liner into the gel liner and apply it to the waterline. Because the waterline is always wet I usually always set this gel liner because there is too much moisture on the waterline which won’t let the product settle into the skin that is why I add the additional step of setting the liner onto the waterline.
The following are the steps I take to apply gel liner to my waterline…
Step 1: take a pencil eyeliner and dip it into the IT Cosmetics Gel liner
Step 2: Apply the pencil liner onto the waterline
Step 3: set the gel liner with a black eyeshadow (dip the angled brush into a shadow that is the same color eyeliner) and gently pat it across the bottom waterline. This step will make sure that liner is going nowhere and will give the liner more intensity.
How To Remove The Waterproof Eyeliner
When removing making up such as a waterproof eyeliner its really important to use an oil-based makeup remover. An oil-based makeup remover will break down the formula and it will be easier to wipe away the makeup. This formula is well suited for those with sensitive eyes. The one makeup remover I do rave about is The Body Shops Chamomile Waterproof Lip and Eye Make up Remover.
I usually apply a few drops of this eye makeup remover on a cotton pad and then apply it on the eyeliner with gentle pressure. After a minute of applying gentle pressure to the eyelid, the waterproof eyeliner and any other makeup around the eyes immediately come off. I use this same step for the waterline and if that does work I use a Q-tip to remove all the makeup from the waterline and that usually does the trick off taking off the waterproof makeup on the waterline.
